Friendship

“Too often the I-can-handle-it-myself society we live in seems to promote loneliness rather than friendship. Friends are an important part of sharing the burden and worry of each day.”

Sometimes we don't even realize how much we need a friend until they step up and put an arm around our should just to let us know that they are there for us. I have found true friends even through this blogging that have walked me through a rough period with my youngest daughter moving out of the house. They have been there through emails and given me love unconditionally. I am blessed to call them my "friends". Our world is all about "me"..God's way to is reach out and care about others.

This was a great quote, Heather!
Your heart is so tender and good. I hope to continue to get to know you better :)

A wonderful quote and sadly oh so true. Everyone wants to be so "put-to-gether" and not show their true selves and do end up being very lonely. I so treasure the friendships I have in life and the new one's I'm making in blogland. These new ones are just in the infancy stage and I wait with anticipation where God will take them and how!
