Well I'm having to put the dreaded "word verification" into use again. I got my first spam today. At least I think it's spam. Someone left a comment. I didn't recognize their name. So clicked on it. It went to a weight loss page....I'm assuming this is the spam that others have talked about? Anyway it's back in place for awhile I guess.... unless I decide to change over to comment moderation. But it's nice being able to see all the comments and not having to wait until I go online to approve them....Oh well this will do for now. Hope you're all having a great week.

I know what you mean! Ugh, spammers. It's crazy how it's against the law to email spam but not post it. Weird. I had to turn on comment verification a while back b/c I had a person posting things that were offensive :o( Your word verification is a good solution!

Heather, I posted the picture on my page so long ago that I don't remember having a big issue with it. It's not really long enough to fit the whole page so I just changed the background to black to make it fit. I'm not real good with all of this stuff. I guess I just happened to pick the right one. We will see what happens when I change to my summer picture. That will be soon and I may have troubles. It seems everytime I try something new I have a mess, hehe. Hope you find a solution and have fun finding a look you like.
Its weird I haven't had any spam since the blog was brand new. I've never had to put anything on to keep it out. I hear alot of people talk about it though.
I just have the 'moderate comments' - which I guess means they avoid my blog.
I hate spam emails and don't wish to see them also on my blog.

Word verification is not a bad idea. I haven't gotten any spam yet, knock on wood, but the second I do, mine is going back up. Hope it fixes your problem:)
yeah I hope so too.. as annoying as word verification is... I hate it!!.. ..I guess the spam is worse..
