thank you! I am indeed enjoying the new camera...taking all these photos in hopes of figuring out all the settings...as I'm taking them I'm trying to figure out the setting for the situation...yeah I could read the manual but hey why do it the easy way??

Like you, I prefer the 'mental anguish' in pressing buttons etc.
I hope you will be storing all the photo's in a digital vault - they are excellent.
thank you Peter...I have to figure out how to get the photos onto a CD...can't seem to get it to work for me..
I usually transfer to pictures folder and then 'move' to CD or 'copy' to CD
