IT'S HOT!!

Well we finally got the heat!! It's 31*C right now! I was out working in the veggie garden and decided that it was just way too hot for that! I wanted to get things planted but I did a little bit of digging and moving the volunteer sunflower plants and I was done! Maybe I'll get back to it tonight! And that's a BIG maybe! Happy Summer (weather)!

yes...I should have clarified that--I'm NOT complaining!! We've been waiting SO long for some heat...less than 3 weeks ago we had snow and now it's 31* which is around 90* F. We're in shock!! but enjoying it at the same time!

Wow, that is so hot - and here too we have been having some truly wonderful weather.

Today (Sunday) a joyous wake up of clear skies as I embark on my walk to church.

My prayers will also be for your MIL and may you continue to enjoy summer sunshine.

Blessings this day.

Thanks Heather, yes it is rather late in the evening and time for my 'Horlicks' before retiring to bed.

I am just listening to the evening prayer - of the birds - outside - they are wonderful to hear - each day.

Have a wonderful Sunday and may the sun continue to shine - where you are.

Indeed 'Horlicks' is a malt drink - helps one to fall asleep, and snore - without being disturbed (jokingly said)...

I feel sure you did complete the rest of the gardening, if not in physical - at least in mind :)

Just enjoy the sunshine and gaze out on yon hills, and don't feel guilty - cos the kids can finish off - for you ;)

ha....no peter did not finish the gardening! and hubby is bugging me to come out and help..."where did you want the onions put in....?" :o)So I'd better get out there and help or the onions will end up in the strawberry patch! ;)

Daffy...I'll send the heat down your way today...in fact-it's already headed your way...it's only about 21 outside right now--perfect weather for gardening so I'm off!

Alas a woman - must obey the Master, or else chaos will be the order of the day....

At least in the Strawberry/onion patch...

Enjoy the garden and the weather too. It is a beautiful evening here in Scotland.
