Update on Grandma

The dr. has decided that it is time to remove the leg, well the lower half anyway. They're sending her home today and then she will return early next week to have the operation done. She will spend a week or two in hospital recovering and then into the rehab ward for awhile...don't know how long there. She will need to be bathed in prayer. Thanks so much friends.

Be assured Heather, I shall be praying daily at such a time for your MIL and also indeed for all the family.

May you all find strength in prayer as in comfort and support throughout the next weeks.

Blessings to you all.

Wow. That sounds hard.

I hope that it will actually make things easier and her life more pain-free. Praying!

thanks everyone.
We're really hoping that it'll make things easier and that she'll experience less pain this way, like you say WM.

I will pray for her tonight.
Aw Heather, sorry to hear about it. I guess its gotta be done because her leg keeps getting clogged up hey. I sure hope and pray for very speedy recovery and that her nerves wont be bad during that time or that she wont feel anxious about it..

Thanks for asking Daffy..it's gone quite nicely actually...we spent the weekend at Grandma's and had lotsa family come to visit some took a full day's drive to get here...so all in all it was nice...except of course that Grandma wasn't all that well...she's on a high morphine dosage to cope with the leg pain.

Yes I imagine she will have to take something strong to help her. Morphine really zaps your strength too. Well she seems to be made of strong stuff so lets hope the recovery goes into overdrive and that she gets the chance to enjoy her visitors. :o) x

I am so pleased she had so many people around her for the weekend and all credit to you all for such a long drive.

May the power of prayer be the shining light throughout her operation and recuperation.

Oh Heather!!! I have been out of pocket for some time and trying to catch up. I am so sorry to hear this about your husband mom. We went through this same thing with Mickey's younger sister and we know and understand. I'm glad the Lord had me check in today so I can pray and you know I will.
((hugs)) to you all,
Susan
