EEEEEEEEEK!! We have MICE!!!

I opened the cupboard to get the flour out for pancakes and all of a sudden realized that there were mouse droppings all over the bottom shelf of the pantry cupboard!! NOOO! I HATE mice! I started opening drawers and cupboards and realized that it's EVERYWHERE!!! Even on the corner of the countertop! I left some clean dishes to dry on a tea towel beside the sink...I guess he was a thirsty mouse..cuz there was mouse poo on the tea towel. :( We've lived here for 17 months and have not had any mice before this..I'm thinking that someone left the door open one too many times.
Well I'm off to eat pancakes then get the kitchen de-mouse pooped!!
Have a great day/night.
:D

EEKKK is right. I hate mice. Ewwww.
Good luck de - mousing your home.
We had a dead mouse stuck in our basement wall a couple years ago...man that creeped me out.
I noticed the smell of it. Anway, Al ended up taking the mopboards off and got it out. Talk about us both going ewww and being yucked out.

You can borrow our cat. She is the BEST mouser.

Reminds me of last year when we opened out box of Christmas village stuff and every wee little light up building had been visited by a mouse.

Hi Heather,
The little Koala is cute !! I hope to add some more Christmas cheer next week. We are off to Bonnie to our Caravan tonight for the weekend. We plan on getting some painting done and some needed work so that it is ready for our Summer Holiday. We are heading up there on Boxing day for 2 - 3 weeks then every weekend until mid April. Have a great weekend. Take Care
Luv Melinda

Hi Heather, hope you have had success in de-meecing your kitchen. Eeewwww, don't they make a horrid mess. Have never had them in the house, but we regularly (every couple of years) get them in our caravan at Bonnie Doon. I hate them with a passion. Maybe we don't get them at home due to having a cat !!! Hmm, that'd work.
Anyway, just dropping by to say HI, and to wish you and your family a very Merry (mouse free) Christmas, and a safe and Happy New Year.
Take care, Meow

Hey Melinda...just working on the blog...right now...changing colours etc...trying to download a different template from somewhere else...don't have a clue how to do it! I'm hoping Terri can help me out on it!
Oh...and yes I think we have the mouse situation cleared up!! I caught only one in 3 nights with 7 traps out...I was thinking that it was only 1 critter but wasn't sure...now I'm starting to think so since there wasn't any "sign" this morning!! yippeee! :)
Someone must have left a door open at just the wrong moment and it ran in! or so i'm hoping..
take care
ps..
guess I should be replying on your blog... :P
