Sharing a Good Book.

Hi I picked up this tag on Ginger's blog.

Grab the closest book, go to page 123, find the 5th sentence and, on your blog, put the next three sentences. Write the title of the book and the author’s name. Tag three other people.

Okay .. the book that I have sitting closest to me right now will absolutely revolutionize your life!! Pick it up at a bookstore today!! You won't be sorry that you did! So what is this book? Well the book closest to me is a Bible. It's a NLT (New Living Translation). It's my favourite translation...I have a few different ones. Here are those 3 sentences.

The Lord said to Moses, “Now that you have brought these people out of Egypt, lead them to the land I solemnly promised Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I told them long ago that I would give this land to their descendants. And I will send an angel before you to drive out the Canaanites, Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites.

Wow that was a lot of "ites"... Okay so maybe this part isn't exactly inspiring... but read it through and you will definitely find it so!
Please share a favorite read with me if you feel so lead or post this idea on your blog.

I agree...great book!

I printed out the chicken recipe below. It sounds like one I'll have to try.

Oh yeah, your kids have to be in school until June 21st??? Ughh!! My kids have been out since May 18th, and then they start again the end of August. I wish it was a longer break cause it always seems to go by so quickly. Oh well, what can we do??

Have a great weekend!!!

Heather, I loved the comment you left about the meaning of your name. I'm sure that you bring beauty in the midst of all and any place you go, even in the places where there is no other beauty to be found I have no doubt that your spirit shines for all to see. I was not surprised that this was a perfect reflection of you!

I have yet to find anything about you that I do not love. I sense a gentle loving spirit that I think I would enjoy getting to know.

Glad you posted your read...nothing compares to God's Word.
